Meet Our Teachers!

 ~ Mrs. Thao ~

Mrs. Thao is our early education and primary teacher. She excels at supporting her young learners as they build foundational skills in literacy and mathematics. Mrs. Thao provides a balanced program of developmentally appropriate lessons and activities with character building, and opportunities for collaboration as well as autonomy. She ensures all her students have what they need to be successful.

~ Mrs. Huddleson ~

Mrs. Huddleson is our third and fourth grade teacher, and has been a well-loved teacher at Bangor School for over 30 years! She is known for building positive and lasting relationships in her classroom, promoting lifelong learners and readers, and her famous end of the year classroom Connect 4 tournament. 

~ Ms. Marino ~

Ms. Marino is our fifth and sixth grade teacher. Originally from New Jersey, Ms. Marino has now taught at Bangor School for 7 years! Ms. Marino works hard to encourage independence, build positive work habits, and promote strong academic growth to prepare her students for junior high. 

~ Dr. Bearden ~

Dr. Bearden is our seventh and eighth grade teacher. This is her first year teaching at Bangor School. Dr. Bearden has a PhD in Entomology and is a former Butte College professor. She has first joined the Bangor team as a substitute teacher and quickly built strong relationships with students and staff. She continues to inspire with her love of creative and hands-on learning opportunities. We are excited she has joined us full time this year!   
 
~ Mrs. Meier ~

Mrs. Meier is our resource teacher. She has now been working at Bangor School for 10 years! Mrs. Meier works to support and advocate for her students to remediate essential skills and enhance the educational experience for all learners. In the afternoons, Mrs. Meier also teaches STEAM subjects to first through eighth grade students.
