Bangor is proud to offer students and parents access to quality programs while ensuring the small-town and community feel that only a country school can. 

Small Class Sizes - Currently, Bangor Union Elementary offers class sizes that range from 14-23 students to one teacher and part-time aide. We have a very high adult to student ratio. This ratio allows for teachers to spend that much more time and attention on each individual child to truly promote student success. Students don't fall through the cracks here at Bangor School. 

A Personalized Experience - Here at Bangor Union Elementary, our size lends itself to building positive relationships between teachers, parents, staff, and students. This a place where you can expect to hear a friendly, "Good Morning," and for everyone to know your name. Caring, regard and learning is key at Bangor School. 

Community Support - For over 150 years, Bangor Union Elementary has been the center of Bangor's community. Many of our students are the second and third generation in their families that have attended our school. The community has shown again and again how important this historic school and its traditions are to its residents.
